Lume is a whole-body deodorant that is also aluminum-free & paraben-free. In terms of effectiveness, it works great at keeping odor away, but the scents we tried were just unbearable for us. I thought I was the only one who hated the smell of Lume. I thought it was my own body odor interactions with it that made it so nasty.

Tried Lumi unfortunately, the day I was leaving for my Ireland vacation and a 6 hour flight. What I will say if you want to smell like Shrek go ahead and use it! About 3 hours into my flight, I kept getting wiffs of onion. To my horror, as we were about ready to land, I discovered the smell was coming from me! And I still had a connecting flight and about 3 more hours of travel! I was mortified and embarrassed and tried to keep my distance from people as not to offend anyone. NEVER AGAIN! And no, Lumi did not refund my money because by the time I returned home it was passed 60 days from date of purchase. So, $60 worth of stinky shower gel, body lotion, Deodorant and wipes went right in the trash.
I purchased Lume a while back and when I complained to them that the smell is horrible, I was told that the odor goes away. I still have unused tubes because of the smell. I’m going to try Kino. I’ll let you know what I think.
The Lume fragrances are just awful. The “unscented” is the worst. I’ve tried the new Secret. It smells good but both work for less than 24 hours. I’m going to try the Kino.
